Zane got half of the day off on the 23rd and we got to spend the afternoon and evening with some friends.
First, Tyler and Amelia came over. Tyler is doing his residency in Chicago in pediatrics. You could tell he was a natural with babies! Grace says he can be her doctor any time.
Then Joy and Matt came over and we went downtown to see the White House Christmas tree. Grace was wearing her "Joy" outfit that day just for Joy.

Matt not only is my personal photography tutor, but he's also very gracious in taking pictures with my camera. I don't get a lot of pictures with Grace and these are sure to be some of my favorites. This is after bath time. Grace was wearing her Christmas jammies in preparation for our mini Christmas celebration the following morning before heading to CO.
