Let me try to give you as brief of a summary as possible on the last few months.
Back in May, Grace and I were in CO for almost 3 weeks. Zane came out for one of the weeks. I posted the pictures of Alex's Air Force graduation and Alex and Ellen's engagement pictures. Here are some of the other highlights of our time there:
Grace bonded with Uncle Alex

Gigi (my mom) earned her Doctor of Ministry

Our friend, Jeryl, came to visit and we went to high tea. Jeryl taught Grace some new dance moves!
We had a bridal shower for my now sister-in-law, Ellen!

And I got to do a couple of quick photo shoots with dear friends - my "other parents" and my mentor and her daughters.
Memorial Day weekend, Zane and I left Grace with my parents and flew to L.A. to look for an apartment. I didn't take any pictures, but there will be plenty of time for L.A. pictures...
Early June, we all went to Florida for a week at the beach with Nonni, Poppi, Uncle Cole, Aunt Natalie, Noah, Miles and Meemaw and Papaw.
Grace is quite the beach girl! She loved playing in the sand and waves!
The pool was fun too!

We had a quick stop in Chattanooga...
And then it was off to California!
Grace arrived pretty sick and pretty pooped. This is her on moving day!
One of my college roommates, Dayna, lives in Pasadena, only about 45 minutes away. It was fun to reconnect. She had not met Grace. It's also fun to be pregnant together! Dayna is having a baby girl in November.
Mid-July had us back in CO. We got to celebrate Gigi's birthday with her!
The reason for this trip was Uncle Alex's wedding. I was too tired and busy keeping track of Grace at the wedding to get any pictures but here are a few from the rehearsal. Grace wore a special red dress for the rehearsal just for her Pop. It had been his favorite dress of mine when I was a toddler! I'll try to get some pictures to post of Grace as the flower girl in the wedding.
Here are a few pictures of Grace in her new home. I think she likes it here. She's really into helping Mom and Dad with all of our projects around the house and she loves to play with her toys. She does fill our lives with fun and joy and silliness!
I'll post some pictures from Montana next time. I promise it won't be 3 more months!
