Grace has an imaginary friend

Grace created her first imaginary friend today. She's an elephant named "Curtie". Out of the blue this morning she started talking about needing to find her elephant. I asked what her elephant's name was and she said "Curtie," at least that's my best translation. She packed up a suitcase with snacks for Curtie, donned her construction hat and found her wand and was off on an adventure. From the other room I heard "Hello elephant, I am your friend. You want a snack?" It amazes me to see her imagination come alive!
