Last weekend, Joy and Matt invited us to go with them to Lake Monticello. It was our third trip there. We realized that each trip has marked a special season for us. The first time was when we were engaged, less than two months from our wedding. Last year, we went when I was pregnant with Grace. (Ask Matt about watching a youtube clip of a water brith with Zane at breakfast!) This year, we got to take Grace.
Matt and Joy are very important people in our lives and in Grace's - they got to meet her when she was only 1 day old! This weekend, they got to witness and help document her first bites of solid food.
Matt's dad and his wife and one of her daughters were there as well. They were so sweet to Grace. Really, she was completely spoiled!
