Pumpkins, Trick-or-Treating and Other Wonderful Fall Things

I love the Fall! Although we don't have the beautiful colors of the Rocky Mountains or the East Coast, I'm still loving the Fall here in California. The weather has been amazing - 70s and sunny with clear blue skies and we still have pumpkins, Fall Festivals and cute costumes.

Last weekend, we had a pumpkin carving/decorating party with some of our new friends from church. Let's just say 5 children under the age of 2 is mayhem, no matter how many adults you have. And if you throw in candy corn and paint...well...

On Sunday, our church had a Fall Festival. It was a gorgeous day! Grace and her pal, Eli, were quite the little pair...

Bobbing for apples...

 Decorating cupcakes...

 And then eating them...

Grace got her face painted...

Here are Grace and Eli's daddies talking.

As you all know...last night was Halloween. We went trick-or-treating with Eli. She and her parents live on our street (I know, aren't we blessed to have friends from church on our very own street?! And Grace and Eli are only 5 days apart in age!)

I kept trying to get a picture of Grace as we were walking to Eli's house...I guess a blurry fairy is sort of fitting!

Aren't they just too cute together?

Many of you will recognize Grace's dress from Alex and Ellen's wedding
This is how Lucy spent Halloween...as a sleeping sweet pea!
