what does Christianity have to do with politics?

should Christianity have anything to do with politics?

should we care or be disenchanted?

is the Christian vote necessarily the pro-life, pro-gun, anti-gay marriage, "Republican" vote?

or is it necessarily a Democratic vote for the poor and underserved?

if you are at all interested in these questions, I encourage you to listen to this sermon by Mark Dever, the pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church. we attended this year for a few months when we lived in D.C.

Dever, in his sermon, addresses the questions: is Christianity politically relevant? does it have a view of the state? and what does this mean for us?
