Grace's 1st Trip to Tennessee Part 1: Grace Hearts Cowboys

I'm finally getting around to the gazillion pictures I took in TN a few weeks ago (I took another half a gazillion pictures yesterday - when will I ever be caught up?).

Day 1, we woke up to a beautiful morning at Zane's Dad's "farm" and a note saying we could find Ken out with his horses. What a stark contrast to the heap of pavement we live in!

The dogs greeted us on our way. Thankfully they were caged - it's not that I don't like dogs, but all five (I believe that's how many there are) of them can be a little overwhelming, especially first thing in the morning.

We found two cowboys at work in the rink. Here's Grace with her favorite cowboy.
Grace wasn't so sure what she thought about the horses...they will have to grow on her.
As Ken would tell you, he is not a cowboy despite the fact that he has a dozen or so horses and a horse-whisperer way of training them. We did, however, get to meet a real chap-wearing cowboy from West Texas. His name is just "Buster." It doesn't get better than that! Buster was spending the day with Ken helping him with one of his more stubborn young horses.

Just a few more pictures from that morning...
