Remember your "bad mama" song? I remember the song vividly but can't remember a single example of you being a bad mama. Through reading the baby journal you meticulously kept for me, I have seen how truly amazing you were. Thank you for filling my life, from its first days, with love and joy and careful instruction. I would not be the woman, wife, or mother I am today were it not for you. And I have so much to strive for in being a mother more like you.
