The End of the Birthday Week

Steve and Vickie came on Friday to celebrate Grace's birthday and be here for her party on Saturday.  We so appreciate that they drove all the way up here for it - it's not a short drive!

Grace and Nonni were matching - both look great in that magenta-y color!

Zane took Friday off work (and worked MLK day instead).  Grace loved some extra Daddy time!





















On Saturday morning, Grace helped Nonni open her birthday presents (and tried one of them on :o))

It was great having the extra hands to help get ready for Grace's party.  

Here's Grace eating her mac 'n cheese and meatballs and her 3rd cupcake, which she actually ate this time!  I love Anna Lee and Asher's faces next to Grace!

 So many of our wonderful friends were able to make it!  And they graciously stood around as our apartment cannot seat close to 15 adults, not to mention the 9 kids!  Grace got some sweet presents: a bouncing donkey, wooden puzzles, smock bibs, books, cowboy boots and a teddy bear!

Later that evening, Jon, Amy and Deepa stopped by.
