Live Blogging from Chattanooga!

Yes, that is not a typo! For once, I am actually posting some pictures in the midst of the action! This is thanks to my Father's Day present. :o) For Father's Day this year, Zane got to get me a new computer! It's so much faster and has a lot of space for me to fill up with pictures and videos. Woohoo! That said, I'm having trouble with photoshop on the new computer so I couldn't make any of those handy collages that make the insane number of pictures I'm about to post look a little less insane. So enjoy, and feel free to skip/quit early if you aren't one of the girls' grandparents and don't really want to see a hundred pictures of them from the past week!

Wednesday Night: Arrived in Atlanta at 8:30pm. The girls did GREAT in the airports and on the plane. (Thank you to everyone who prayed for travel mercies!) Grace was so excited to see Nonni and Poppi that she just had to kiss everyone. Lucy was overwhelmed by her big sister, as usual!

Thursday-Saturday: We spent our first 3 days with Nonni & Poppi. It was HOT, record hot! So as you will see, when we were outside, we were basically in water.

Thursday morning, Vickie let Grace and Miles play in the sprinklers. When Zane saw some of these pictures he said that Grace looks like a little vampire child next to Miles :o)

"I'm coming to get you, Miles"

"I have a belly button too!"
Grace didn't nap on the plane and couldn't sleep in despite the fact that she didn't fall asleep until 11 or 12 Wednesday night. Needless to say, she was pooped. But she didn't want to miss anything!

Nonni didn't mind resting with Grace.
Lucy was here too :o)

Grace ADORES her cousins! She keep asking where her cousins were, yes, she used the word "cousins." They were so sweet playing with her!

Noah is in an All-Star baseball league and had a couple of evening games so Miles spent the night. It was a pretty great sleepover including cookies and milk and a movie.

On Friday we took the kids to the pool. It was Lucy's first time in a swimming pool!

Grace was convinced she could swim all by herself...

Now that's the way to enjoy a drink at the pool...

Nonni & Poppi have a pogo swing which Grace loves!

And she loves Aunt Natalie!

I'm telling you, being 9 months or 2 1/2 is the life!

"Working"
"What would you like for dinner?"

Despite the fact that Saturday may have been the hottest day in the summer, Noah had a baseball game at 11 and we decided to go cheer him on. I think it was something like 105. We were melting! But we got to see him hit a home run and Grace got to have her first shaved ice.

Somebody was exhausted by the first real sweat of her life...

Stay tuned for more of Grace & Lucy's adventures in Tennessee!
