The girls and I flew straight from TN to CO for a Licata (my mom's maiden name) sister family reunion. It was all the Licata women including my grandmother and great aunt, all of my mom's sisters and my girl cousins and Abby, my cousin Kendall's daughter.

Before the reunion, one of my aunts posted on Facebook that we'd be "exercising, eating healthy food and watching chick-flicks" and that was about right.

| My Dad was a trooper, the only guy (except for a visit from my cousin's boyfriend) amidst a bunch of crazy italian women! He was such a servant all weekend, washing dishes, shuttling us around, babysitting etc! He even had to give up his bed and sleep at a neighbor's so my Aunt Laura could share my mom's room like they did as girls. |

It was a long time to be away (3 weeks today and 10 days away from Zane at the end) but it was great to be with family. We so value those relationships and love watching our girls enjoy and be enjoyed by their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
